A couple thoughts I'll share to start:
1) We should have the confidence boost from beating Miami to stay focused and keep the train moving, so to speak, vs. WMU.
2) However, it's also true that we've had issues playing on the road. Even in our only road win at Eastern Michigan, it took us longer than it should to get going.
Definitely need to get a hot start or at least prevent one from WMU. Don't want to play catchup on the road.
It could be a strength on strength game as our offense is 2nd in the MAC as is their defense.
Their offense is 7th in the MAC with our defense at 6th (which is higher than what I thought it would be).
Two of the three final games will be stout tests and UMass needs to be put away early as they gave Buffalo a game.
A win in Kalamazoo, I think, could really be like last year's win up at Toledo in terms of momentum and controlling the destiny of the trip to Detroit.
