Signed a RB from Drake (FCS). Looks like he was a 2 year starter but injured his knee last season. Downhill runner, can catch out of the backfield, productive numbers and 2 years of eligbility left.

Dorian Boyland - went to Medina HS. Always nice to get Ohio kids.

One thing to keep in mind is that Drake is a non-scholarship football program. This isn't a typical FCS signing.

We have to look beyond just the box score on Kacmarek. He's playing in 2 TE sets and doing a hell of a good job blocking on a national championship team. This one would hurt more if we didn't have Mason Williams behind him.

P.S. Mason will always get extra credit from me for patting Salopek on the head after Navarro made him look foolish on that TD run in the MACC!

Not hating. Just updating. If he went to Ohio State to be a blocker and get some rings then good on ya. Incredible run Ohio State is having. Amazing to be a part of it. If he went there thinking he’d be involved in the passing game and boost his NFL stock then it probably wasn’t a good move longterm. I wish him well. To be involved with that team and run through the tunnel will be a lifetime of memories. I’m just gonna be physically ill if he ends up at Miami for his Senior season, because the NFL wants to see some tape of him catching balls outside of a practice facility.

Been a few blocking TE’s make a living blocking in the NFL. And, I’m sure his education cost him the same, while his check is much larger. Saw him a few times at practice this fall. He seems to be very happy.

Well, when Williams leaves to go to OSU, he can return for his last year and compete with Bruno for the starting job.

You may actually be right. I hope not but why would Williams not hit the transfer portal. $$$$. If he does, please go anywhere but that bandwagon school.

I read on twitter that Brawley broke his foot in the 4th quarter of the game and will miss a time. Likely will play the last 3 games and redshirt to play another year. Unfortunate for a hard working kid hoping he has a speedy recovery.

Fickell is looking for a scape goat. He's thinking about developing next year's kicker because at 3-7 nobody good is going to come looking to hire him.
Vakos is 3 for 4 from inside 40 yds and 15-15 on PATs. More attempts from outside 40 than inside.

Feel like we need to start a fresh thread for this year but we have our first Bobcat who intends to enter the portal when it offically opens.

Ohio offensive tackle Ibrahim Kebe intends to enter the portal.

6'7, 326-lb freshman who redshirted this year and will have four years left.

Foster and Kacmarek to Williams and Bruno...Metz did a hell of a job recruiting tight ends. I guess that's why he was the recruiting coordinator! How long until Williams hits the portal and gets his payday??
