Hope all who are within driving distance will head down on Thursday night to salute the seniors.  Over their 5 years to date they have a record of 34-27.  Two MACEast titles and two bowl games.  And counting.

Pretty good considering where the program was before they arrived on campus.

Can someone with better knowledge list their names?

Thanks BOBCAT SENIORS for great football seasons!   I can say that I have enjoyed football more in the last three years than I had in many years as a buckeye fan.   Went to Ford's Field twice last year and want to return to Ford's Field  and a bowl game this year - wherever - (about all I think of)!!   Man, I hope that Noah Keller and Levon Brazill are back on the field next year as BOBCATS!!!!!!!  That is awsome - I just hope that ain't bullcrap!!!  If they are not introduced with the seniors - I will be grinning big time!!!

Solich said in his press conference that he has discussed it with them and they will not be taking part.

Believe it or not, no, but you have to dig back quite a ways to find more successful teams.

Assuming four year runs, 1929-1932 had 31 wins, 1959-1962 had 30 wins, and more recently last year's class from 2005-2009 had 28.  Current seniors have 25 to date, with between 3 and 5 games remaining.  Definitely puts them in very good company.

To put the 29-32 teams in perspective, in four years those teams lost 3 games and tied once.  That is a .886 winning percentage.  Between 59-62, the team lost 8 and tied once, giving them a winning percentage of .769.

Last year's seniors won at a .538 clip, and this senior class to date is at .532.  A win against Buffalo brings them to .542.

Some good players will be lost at a variety of positions, but obviously the hardest hit area will be the defensive line where you lose all four starters (Williamson, Hodge, Gatling, and Notestine) as well as Oxley (NT) and Chapman (DE). I think they can reload, but how successful that process is will be a key in whether Ohio is as good as hoped next year.

Could not agree more.  QB is a concern but it's all about Disruptive Defensive Tackles.  Must stop the run and get more than adequate qb pressure.

I guess if Ohio can put together a great Oline with its preseason 2 deep gone anything is possible for the D line. My feeling is that younger lineman excel here because they haven't put on all the millage the 5th year guys are carrying. The seniors are having a hard time making it through the season injury free.

Resurrecting this nice thread to note that the seniors (5 year term) are now 36-27 and counting.

Pretty fair record considering where we were before they came aboard.  Hope everyone will travel down to kents for an OHIO salute to the seniors.
