With the exception of the Ball State Cardinals, OUr Cats have plucked all the "birds" in MAC -- Eagles, Falcons, Redhawks and Owls.

Now ... if we get to the MAC Championship game and if the current ESPN bowl projections become reality, it'll be time for Cat-and-dog fights -- vs. the NIU Huskies and the Fresno State Bulldogs.

Why am I serving up this drivel? I have no explanation/defense for this action, other than to note that this IS the Internet -- which, like the word "idiotic," begins with the letter "I."

I will share two final thoughts: IF the Humanitarian Bowl is a match between Ohio and Fresno State, it'll be a reunion for Tom Boeh and ... Bobcats and Bulldogs both begin with the letter "B" (as does bullsomethingelse).
