IMO jury is still out on Haywood. The record looks good this year and you gotta beat the teams on your schedule, can't fault them for that. But those teams Miami has beaten are a combined 16-62.

And I thought ours was bad. (Ohio 32-55, Temple 30-57, NIU 33-66)

There is extreme chatter and others by Joe Schad on ESPN that Stan Parrish will not be the coach next year at BSU.

I hope that this is not correct.  I think if they stick with Stan they will be rewarded.  He had a real bare cupboard when he took over.

What was Miami's record the past 4 season's?  Throw out our I-AA wins and look at the record of our opponents.  and look at the number of teams with a winning record we beat over the past many years.

I am a little worried about the win-one-for-the-Gipper phenomenon, particularly if the Owlpoops beat the Redchickens and the Bobcats have a little edge taken off their game.

OCF, not to worry about having an edge taken off OUr game. I never thought I'd say this, but: I was happy to see Miami win. Now we have to play like a team that's won seven in a row and has a goal on which it must remain focused.

Cat4ever raises a good point.
Had Miami lost our player MAY have taken a laid back approach to the Kent game, not the way you want any team to approach any game on the schedule.
Now it's take care of business time.
