The Terd lost BADLY to a rather mediocre SMU team, 31-17 (it was 24-0 at the half), and dropped its record to 4-7.  Stayin' home for the holidays in Huntington this year.

But they lost to BG, and we beat the SUcks.  It's not whether you make mistakes; it's learning from them and correcting the problems.

Its always nice to see Marshall down. In all fairness though the Herd improved in CUSA play as the season moved on but at 4-7 remind me much of Kent State, decent defense and no offense. Though Ohio lost to Marshall on a 2 point conversion its worth noting that the week before it required a Noel Devine led WVU team OT to escape Huntington. Marshall would probably be bowl eligible on Ohio's schedule.
