Nice quotes over there:

"What can they brag about? Really? They beat us two years in a row? Wow. Some accomplishment. It's MAC FOOTBALL!!!! We are TEMPLE football.... what can they brag about?"

Remember when they wanted to be in the Big East? lulz

Hopefully he comes around the week before we play Temple in basketball and explains to us how great Temple is, how they shouldn't have to play us MAC schools, and that we should be grateful that they even grace us with their presence.  If so, then we know the Bobcats will most definitely win.

While we're talking about crow eating, when Golden-boy looks at the film of the game he's going to realize how silly he looked ranting and whining on end about the first fumble recovery, when the camera footage captured exactly what happened so precisely, and there wasn't even the remotest doubt that it was a correct call.

Even if it was overturned it still would have been fourth down, right? I mean you do lose some field position but if his coaches upstairs saw the replays I doubt they would have told him to challenge.

An interesting MAC commercial came on during the game. It said something about 'Mutual Respect" of competitors in the MAC. It dawned on me that indeed Temple does not fit in the MAC. I do respect most of the teams in the MAC, but I have little or none for Temple. To use (misuse) a trendy, newly invented word, while MH55 is pathetic slime, it is worth noting that no Temple fans entered the discussion to refudiate him.

What a thorough beatdown the offensive and defensive lines game to Temple tonight. Kudos to the big guys in the trenches.

Agree with your assessment of the line play last night, especially while the game hung in the balance.

I respect the Owls' football program. They play fast and physical, and, have good size. There is no quit. I sit near the visiting bench at our home games, and, last year there was little, if any, cursing. That's not the case with all teams. The players/coaches conducted themselves in a business-like manner. I was impressed.

I'm curious if MH55 was the douchbag that came over to the Ohio section at the end of the game and starting yelling "GO TEMPLE!!" when they were down 31-10 and obnoxiously waving his flag right in the faces of our fans and jumping up and down and screaming. He almost got beat up, but security threw him out first.

I think if you go back and look at the video you'll find that the "heisman trophy candidate" running back didn't hurt his leg on the run.  He actually injured it a few minutes earlier dancing on the sideline with the rest of his teammates.

After watching the immature and embarassing antics on the sidelines lastnight,,,,,,, Could MH55 and Al Golden be one and the same????????    The both apparently believe in that "swagger" bullshit!

That couldn't have been him. He was hiding in his parents' basement by that time.

Did I read or hear that Big East officials were there last night to watch Temple for consideration of an invitation back into their family? Did they like what they saw?

It takes a big man to admit he was wrong.

I know Golden has always wanted the PSU job (and a few think he has a chance once Paterno retires).  But watching his team behave, I don't see that happening.  Sort of the opposite of Paterno's teams for the past 50 years.

Hey MH55, time for an update-

since getting booted from the Big East , Temple:

- is now 4-37 vs bowl eligible teams.

- has never beat a MAC team with a winning record.

Where's all that smack talk about how much better Temple is than the rest of the MAC?

Enjoy your meltdown.

If anyone would like to befriend MH55, they can do it here: http://temple.rivals.com/rfFan.asp?User=64010

Now don't everybody go doing it at once!
