Does Gerardi understand that he has to throw the ball BEFORE the other team gets to him?

If it were any MAC team other than Fiami I'd love this. But now I'm back to being terrified of Friday.

Merriweather took 20 seconds to run 97 yards for the TD.

97 yard td by Miami. Miami is our rival, and it would mean a lot to us for them to lose, but I still can't help root for them. Its funny watching "Big East Bound Temple" get pummeled by lowly MAC teams.

I know, how bad does Temple have to suck to make a Miami win fun to watch. I want to give a special shout to MH55 for representing his school so well.

Stupid Temple.

Just got home from the basketball game and turned this game on ... and here is that horrible woman announcer again. Is she a Temple alum or something? I want to strangle her.

Right about now I'm thinking that OUr win against Miami looks a lot better and more impressive than OUr win against Temple.

I personally like this quote via temple message board,

"I hope none of the coaches come back.

So much for Al Golden and Temple being the next being on the rise.

Slow night here in Cincy so I , foolishly, decided to take in the Owl-Hawk game.  It was for the birds.  Temple looked like a bunch of quitters.  They have NFL size and looks but play like a few high school teams I saw this year.  Their offense is one of the worst I've ever seen.  Do they have or use wide receivers?  They made a ton of mistakes and were able to "generate" a whopping 225 yards in total offense (estimate).  Oh, by the way, that was about how many fans were in the stands.  I REALLY dislike these mid week games now.  As I've said before after attending Thursday games in Athens, it is a travesty for the senior players, students and alumni to put up with this crap for whatever $$$ the MAC gets.

As for Miami, they didn't really look like a college team...seemed small (maybe because Temple is so huge) but they were quick to the ball and just got to the spots before Temple.   The QB really did a nice job and they ran the ball well too.  They've come a long way since being buried a copy of times early in the season.

I am a firm believer you win championships on the field and I sure hope OUr team comes thru Friday.  I think we will be either the 2nd or 4th MAC team win or lose.  Two gets us somewhere, maybe being #4 gets us a better game.  But do you seriously want to lose the Division Championship to Miami?

Good night and GO CATS!

Worst scene scenario.....she's a Can't St. grad and we see her Friday....I could end up like the guy who shot his TV over Sarah  Palin's daughter.

They need to ditch the chick. I would rather listen to a stack of old Slim Whitman records than hear her mindless comments.

I'm partial to Boxcar Willie, who wasmanaged  in the early 80sby Ohio alum Lee Marshall. Ah, yes, dueling Slim Whitman and Boxcar Willie ads on TBS back in the day. Good times.

As for M#$%i vs. Temple -- all I care about is us vs. Kent State. Let's go earn a title, Bobcats.

When assigning identities, which team was Slim Whitman and which team was Boxcar Willie.

I'd have to say Miami would be Slim Whitman, because Boxar Willie is far to scruffy for JCrewU.

No, but I would gladly go buy the box set and gag through them all if that ESPN chick NEVER does a game again.
