There was an ESPN.com writer on the MAC conference call today talking to Solich. I don't think it's going to be anything big, maybe just a mention about Ohio, but there should be something on the Bobcats.

It was Andrea Adelson. She usually does a Tuesday/Wednesay piece. She likes to use the term "Midweek MACtion" when discussing midweek MAC games. If she does something, it'll probably focus on how the team came together after losing Brazill, Keller & Moore.

Yeah, that was what she asked about. It's worth mentioning nationally, because it's a pretty big accomplishment to lose three of your best players and still be in contention for the conference championship.

Miami sucks. They aren't even close to OUr level. The fact that this is even in the conversation, the fact that they have even the smallest of window of opportunity to win the East makes me ill. I hope Al and his shirt and tie hang about 50 on the chickens. I feel like the Cats are slighted even when they are clearly the odds on favorite to win the East and the best team in the East.

To be fair, that article is more about the team with the best turnaround in the country than it is about the MACC. Begrudging though it may be, you have to give Fiami a little credit for going from 1-11 to bowl eligible. That being said, they stand zero chance against Temple without Dysert. Even without Pierce, Temple's run game will force Fiami to sell out to stop the run leaving their corner's exposed and as we saw, Temple has size and talent at WR.
And really...Just once I'd like to see someone from ESPN get an entire MAC piece correct...
"Winning the game would give Miami automatic entry into a bowl game, because the two MAC title game participants are guaranteed spots." Nope...Even if she's referencing the the 3 MAC tie-in's in a roundabout way, I'm sure Toledo and Temple might differ with that opinion.

Yeah I had to write a comment to a AOL Fanhouse article on the status of the Non-AQs to correct the writer on the MAC East Division scenarios.
