Well, you may want to look at Colorado to see somewhat of a parallel situation. Same players as before, different results by a long shot. I'm not saying it's going to happen, but if you don't believe emotions play a big part in sporting event results, I think you're wrong.
Anyway, emotions aside, I'm not sure that I wouldn't empty the playbook if I were Kent. What does Martin have to lose? Pass on early downs or every down, all out-block kicks,on-side kicks-trick offensive plays-fourth down going for it-etc. Ohio has been bit by some of those actions in the past, so why not?
