Plenty of people barking up the wrong trees here. Not saying that the play-calling is acceptable, or that all of the coaches should stay, but ...
Now that its been brought to all your attention watch the bowl game well play well in the beginning and fold and not react to there changes.
Actually, in the Pizza Bowl Marshall game, Ohio stunk in the first half and then rebounded, but it was too little, too late. I don't think the first half against Southern Mississippi was good either or that it got much better in the second half.
Where was the fire Tim Albin talk after the Temple game when the season was quite literally on the line?
Are you familiar with the phrase "finish the job"?
Albin didn't call for Boo to fumble in the end zone or throw up a freebie instead of taking a sack.
True, but this is simply what Boo does. He fumbles and throws interceptions, and he has little experience playing in cold weather. Why are we seemingly incapable of recruiting a good, smart quarterback from the Rust Belt with a live, accurate arm and offensive linemen who'll consistently give the QB more than two seconds to act? Who identifies problematic trends with the offense and corrects them? Which coach is responsible for that? The candidates are Solich, Albin and Gdowski. Will Derek Roback be the answer to the QB problem?
