Now we know four things.
I'm an idiot, NIU stinks, redhawk stinks (well, we knew that already) and we stink.
Mr. Slavin, sir. Please do not be so hard on yourself. Last night I watched the B12 Championship. Neither Oklahoma or Nebraska looked like they had at times during the season. Guess the forgot to "show up" or perhaps they just stink. I also heard Texas A & M beat both the Sooners and the Huskers but laid an egg or two, enough not to make the championship game, they must stink too. Nebraska lost to 5-7 Texas, they must really stink, not sure why they would consider going to a bowl. Sir, this is football, the ball bounces wierdly, the athletes are human beings and the oponent will have a say in how games turn out. Finally, teams that have a poor season certainly have the right to turn their last game into their "bowl game" and rise up to finish on a positive. If they play well enough to win, give them due credit. A losing team has the right to continue working an playing hard to win and deserves credit when they rise up. Teams need not be judged on one game, but, the entire season, there are good days, there are bad days. Ohio is getting better and better. If you need to follow a team that wins all the time perhaps you should switch to USC or Texas, Oh wait.
