so is BobcatAttack.com now officially ohiofans.com? My old links wouldn't work and i found this path but didn't see any official announcement of the change.

if permanent will there be an auto redirect in place for those that use the old url?

Both appear to work now for me -- I noticed a message from Ryan last night about BobcatAttack moving to new servers, so I'd guess they were waiting for DNS to propagate, and perhaps ohiofans.com just moved through the system a bit faster.

Ryan would have to confirm... just my suspicion.

Alex is right.  OhioFans.com has always worked in addition to BA.com...the DNS is hosted at 2 different providers with OhioFans.com being at GoDaddy which seem to update < 1 hour, and BA.com which generally takes longer.  As soon as your ISP updates it's DNS for BobcatAttack.com, the links should work.  From what I can tell, most ISP's have the correct routing as of this morning.

For those who care....

Last night I had about 300 error messages in my inbox from noon to 10 PM.  I usually get 5 a week.  Not sure what was up with the server, but I decided to reboot it around 10:45 last night to see if the issues would clear up.  It didn't come back and then my helpdesk tickets didn't provide me much hope (they never do!) so I moved the whole site to a new provider...something I had been planning on for a few months now.  I lost some horsepower and I'm paying about 3x as much compared to the great deal I had at the old provider, hopefully the extra cash will provide better stability with the chance to grow as needed.  The old provider wasn't too bad for what I was paying (> 99% up time) but I never did feel comfortable with them.

Let me know if anything doesn't work as it used to.  So far I haven't gotten any error reports.
