Bates can not be our quarterback next year or we will be 0-12. It looked like an Ohio State repeat with him in. It is quite obvious that he is not at the right position, he needs to be a tight end, full back, half back or any position but quarterback. Is Solich stupid enough to believe Bates can win football games  or just pig headed to leave him in when we the game was over. If you want to prove a point with Boo don't play him but when you bring him in for one play you "look like a complete idiot". Was he trying to prove a point or is he really stupid, I'm being serious not trying to make a point. How can he see something in Bates that no one else does. If you really don't want to win and just see what we have for next year then just play another quarterback. Solich set the program back about three years with his Kent and Troy preparation and decision making. Maybe the game has passed him by.

Based on your post you apparently don't know WHY Boo didn't play in the 1st half much.

Do you expect a coach to overlook "issues" and play a guy anyway? That sure sends a message as in "there are no consequences".  Players need to take responsibility for their performance both on and off the field. I think Frank made a tough but fair decision and likely knew it might have some impact on the outcome. But even if Boo plays the entire game we still come out on the short end. Boo plays offense and yesterday out defense couldn't stop anyone.
