So I tune into ESPN at 9:12 PM - And see a MAC Football Championship game ad - This a MAC or ESPN fail????

Ah, you beat me to it. I saw the same ad during the MACCG, and it probably ran during the Bahamas Bowl and the Spud Bowl. I'd say it's a fail by both of them. The MAC needs to make sure ESPN has up-to-date spots and ESPN needs to make sure it's not running stale ads. Ran into this kind of thing all the time when I was in radio, especially Christmas spots after January 1.
