Prior to today I wasn't sure he actually existed. Thought he might have been a figment of everyone's imagination...but then then there he was...a nose blockin' tacklin' macklin' jakclin' son of a gun!

This is Daxon I'm referring to.

Lots of positive talk about the broadcast crew on reddit. I was at the same, so I didn't get to listen. I hope there's a replay available.

Go Cats! What a win!

Albin finished the season with a winning record at Ohio. Who saw that coming?

We won. We all lost a few neurons in the process but we won. The same people in the commercials were the people in the booth, sidelines, and halftime show using the endless predatory marketing speak for whole game. This whole thing was such a self promotional effort looking to attract the people who like that sort or thing to their channel. You can bet that they expect that sort of personality type to be just the sort of gullible suckers that they are looking to attract. It was so self promotional that during the key moments at the end of the game they shrunk the football screen showing football to make room to show themselves as the game was happening. I made it through the game without throwing up but only by muting the game for extended segments. Sickening.
Are you better now that you got this out of your system? Barstool did nothing different that ESPN would've done. Self promotion. Get over it. You survived.

I'm embarrassed that my alma mater is being associated with this trash company.
News flash…..OU and every university is associated with trash companies. Go look in your closet….you have cloths from a sweat shop. You sir are associated with trash companies.

My soon to be 82 year old Bobcat brother texted me:

"Televise all the games on Barstool Sports, boy that was fantastic. Totally entertaining game and loved the Barstool Schstick,"

Incredible game. My heart is still pounding from that finish.

I would have went for it on 4th and 3 on our second to last possession. Seen too many of these games where a team that has been hapless on offense (Wyoming in the 2nd half) suddenly rises from the dead to mount a drive. So kicking a FG to go up 21-17 didn't give me much solace given that I assumed Wyoming would score a TD.

Sure enough, Wyoming drove 75 yds for a TD. Then after a not-so-good kickoff return, our offense and special teams pull a rabbit out of a hat to tie it. What an amazing drive by Harris and clutch kick by Vakos.

Winning the toss in OT was huge and our defense held firm. They were fantastic all game. 3rd and 8 my heart was pounding, praying just for a first down. Then Harris to Foster happened and the rest is history!

10 win season feels so incredible!

PS: I am thrilled for CJ Harris winning player of the game.

However, I would give that honor to Sieh Bangura. He was our engine. 25 carries for 138 yds, 5.5 ypc and 1 TD. STUD!

I realize what CJ is and what CJ is not. I just don’t think he can get us to the promised land. The MAC championship game and this game show me all I need to see.
How you have not landed a job as a talent scout or recruiting coordinator is beyond me!!!

Boomers will continue to rage, but ESPN2 on Tuesday afternoon isn't getting that reach. I believe their most viewed game this year was about 260,000.
Uhh what? Might want to fact check that number.
You're right. It was actually 278K.

I stand corrected. Color me embarrassed for my egregious error.

Week 13: OU - BG: 229K
Week 12: OU - Ball State: 250K
Week 11: OU - Miami: 258K
Week 10: OU - Buffalo: 278K

I took your point to imply if this game were on ESPN2 we wouldn't see anything over 260k. Every bowl game regardless of timing on ESPN/2 is well over 1 million viewers. Didn't see anything to suggest you were talking about Maction.

What an awesome game. I'll never forget that throw and catch. When I saw the coverage I had no confidence but CJ put it right there and Foster made one hell of play to keep the catch and get the feet down. 10 win season UNBELIEVABLE.

Fantastic finish!!! Congrats to the team on a well-earned win and a great season that was much better than most of us expected and maybe not as good as it could have been.

What an exciting win! We win without Meservy, Thompson, Sanders from our last game. Lots of guys stepping up.

Billy, sometimes I don’t think you read entire posts. I think we all know the positives and the negatives that CJ brings to the table and I said that. I then said He really came through and gave us some of the most exciting plays for the whole football season and I was grateful for that. Then I made the point that if CJ really wants the opportunity to be a starter he probably would need to go to a lower division one or a division two school. That is the case because Rourke will probably be coming back. I really don’t see where that’s a controversial bunch of statements.
