its the begining of the second quater and i'm extremely close to turning the bowl game off... this whole season i've been telling my dad how bad our play calling has been. i blame a few loses on play calling and i can recall more than a couple "OK" called games... they have throw the ball mabye 3 times the first half, (ik the first play was an interception but my god! the cant run it.) this whole season has been so predictable on the calls and when they aren't its because its such a horrible call... i honestly haven't seen as bad calling even in highschool football and i've played for ryan adems AND cory miller at AHS...
Gill, you're not an
Ohio grad, are you? If you are, please do your school a favor and deny it.

Old man, Gill has done more for OUr university than you could ever fathom... and to stay ON topic, Yes, the play calling was terrible. I especially liked the Zone option read when troy had 10 players in the box, oh wait that may have happened more than once...
Some of my other thoughts from NO: I waited until I calmed down to post.
News flash, troy goes no-huddle. So, why were we unsuccessfully attempting to sub in and out 4 players each play on D? We were sooo confused, that is a coaching short-fall. I'm sure we had some film of troy's offense....right?
A lot of troy' s successful pass plays, I kno there were a bunch, were crossing patterns, just like the same crossing patterns that OUr offensive likes to run. Why couldn't we make an adjustment? Why did OUr D look so confused?
It has been a fact that OUr players always seem slower than OUr competition in Dome games? Why is this? We were wearing cement shoes and troy had on NIke's? Is a sunbelt team team that much better and faster than us? Scoring on their 1st 8 possessions? A red-shirt freshmen leading his team to 600 yards of offense? That is seriously Offensive!
Our play calling was terrible, both O and D. No successful adjustments were ever made, very few were even attempted. We had a "gameplan" and OUr coaches decided to stay with it. This has become the very source of OUr plight.
Also, Thank you Seniors and the city of New Orleans.
