That was not what i was getting at OCF, After the first 4 Football games Ohio is ususually 1 and 3 and people give up on the season and say well i guess its basketball season. thats what I was refering to.
Gman, I'm taking a longer time-frame perspective. I remember when in the Dark Ages of the Cleve-PapaL period people routinely would say about mid-season when we were suffering through yet another dismal season, "It's almost basketball season," or "It's time for basketball season." The irony of someone saying the opposite was what I was really responding to. I do understand your point though. We were just talking past each other.
