There is obviously discussion about Nova possibly moving up to the Big East and I was thinking if they were to, they might be a good BCS school to schedule. Yes they might be the punching bag of the Big East for a while, but they might be a good team to schedule a 1-1 or a 2-1 deal at a cheaper price. Thoughts?

One of the issues with the BIg East moving Nova up is they will now be playing 9 conference games instead of 7 making matchups less likely. Our overall opportunity to play the Big East wll decrease. This is far different if you are talking about the Big Ten where by adding Nebraska it gives us yet another Big Ten to play. The Big XII is plulling the same move as the Big East with 10 conference games and offering a lot less opportunites for the non-BCS. I think the move is to try and go after the lower tier Big Ten, SEC, ACC and offer a 1 for 1 series while playing the upper half of the league for big money.

I was excited because I thought this thread was going to be about the PBS science show. Anyway, carry on....
