I just wanted to say that Jason Arkley has done a tremendous job covering the Cats this Spring for the Messenger. I just (finally) gave in to the pay-wall and so far it has been a worthwhile investment.

For those of us that live and die with this stuff, it's probably best to just pay the extra few bucks to encourage this kind of coverage of the team. And maybe send them a note and let them know that this is why you are subscribing.

Or maybe I'm the only fan that has been holding out on paying up. If so, carry on... :)

I went to the in-laws for Easter dinner and grabbed this morning's Messenger after dinner.  Arkley had most of the front page of the Sports section dedicated to the football team.  He is really good, and good for the Bobcats.  I am not willing to pay their fee to subscribe yet, but I may be ready in the fall when I want more daily news from campus.
