Just Wilkerson and Jarrett from Temps and Thomas from Buffalo.  Worst showing for the MAC since BSU's Keith McKenzie was the only MAC player drafted and was one of the last players drafted overall in '96.

How can that be when the MAC had four teams play in bowl games this year?

McCrae should get a UDFA offer......or play in the UFL if the NFL folds for a year.

Trouble is, there won't be anyone signed as a UDFA until after the lockout, and the longer the lockout lasts, the less likely any UDFAs will be signed.  Those who weren't drafted will have a better shot at Arena or Canadian football.

The MAC office crowed about having 15 players in last year's Super Bowl, but I'll guarantee you they won't be highlighting this showing in the draft.

Of those 15, I wonder how many had been drafted?  Wouldn't be surprised if a bunch of them had been signed as free agents.

Just browsing the list, I believe the vast majority were drafted.

Wow, never thought Atari was undrafted FA, some of the other ones are a little surprising as well.  I guess I should do more than just a quick look.

But at least one MAC player (Chris Smith, Directional Illinois) got drafted in the UFL!!!!

Now if we can expand to 16 teams, we can increase the odds of more players drafted!

Give me your tired, your poor, your directionals yearning to find direction in an FBS-AA conference.

Other than for the love of the game, I couldn't see why anyone would want to get drafted to the UFL, or the CFL.  Canadian League players average about $50,000 per year (unless you are star quarterback) and the UFL is basically a semi pro league with players earning less than $50,000 per year.
