Would love to see a good turnout for the caravan stop. Great venue this year at Montgomery Inn. Hope to mingle with some other Cincinnati alums. Last year was a little disappointing considering all the coaches who made the trip. Let's get some bobcat attackers out to this!

Do many show up at the caravan stops?  Are they worthwhile?

Not sure what our count was for the one in Parkersburg tonight but it seemed pretty full. Several people commented on how it was a better turnout than last year.  Also, no matter how many show up they are worthwhile, just to be able talk about bobcat sports among other things. These are good opportunities to talk to the coaches and the AD one on one if you want.

I had a really good time last year at the stop in Cincinnati. I just hope we get some more people out because I know there are a ton of alumni and supporters in the area and this has the potential to be a really cool event. I assume I am similar to a lot of folks on this board that when it comes to Ohio Athletics I take a personal pride in getting to as many events as I possibly can.
I was impressed with the amount of time the coaches did interactiing with the folks in attendance. If you are a Bobcat Alum in Cincinnati this is a no-brainer.

Monroe, they are lots of fun.  Fun, plus information and insight from Coaches Frank Solich and John Groce.

I've attended the last two Akron-Canton Caravan parties and am planning to attend this year's on Wednesday, May 25, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hacker's Bar & Grill by the Firestone Country Club.

The food is good and free and there will be a drawing for cool Ohio logo'd prizes.  But the topper is having plenty of opportunity for informal chatting with the coaches.  Get them in one-on-ones or with small groups early in the evenng, and they are refreshingly candid.

Capping the evening are the coaches' outlooks for the coming football and basketball seasons.

Mike--I was misquoted.

Good to hear that the turnouts are solid and the events worth attending.  Anyone know when the next southern California one will be?

Maybe you can meet Boeh in Bakersfield for a bowl of soup. You would have to pay for the both of you of course, and he would not be obligated to actually talk to you and/or tell you the truth.

Sounds like all of these stops have been really successful and a good time for all of those who participated. Hopefully Cincinnati will get out in full force and show support for the Bobcats.
See you at Montgomery Inn.
