For 2022, following a terrible season, I was able to get hotel reservations for Saturday nights for all the games at either the HI Express or Fairfield (admittedly at premium pricing).

For 2023, the HI Express, Fairfield, and Hampton have all implemented the "2 Night Minimum" at approx $300 per night policy formerly reserved for homecoming weekend for all the weekends in October. Nice.

I know there are other lower-tier options in Athens, but If I want a happy wife, well you get the picture. $600+ lodging cost for a MAC football game...I think not.
