Cmon Gals, lets not start making up things I alledgedly said.

However, can I quote you, UpsanBobcat.

In yet another Temple thread, this one initiated by you lamenting "]["emple hosting Notre Dame,
http://www.bobcatattack.com/messageboard/topic.asp?FromPage=8&ForumPID=6&PID=22934#FirstNew
you write, on Page 2, "People on here always talk about getting out of the MAC every time conference expeansions come up, but I don't see it happening. A few good years in football following decades of being terrible doesn't really have the bigger conferences coming after you. "

"Decades of being terrible" Now, I dont want to denigrate Ohio Football but have the Bobbies  experienced "decades of being terrible?" Admittedly, I didnt pay much attention to the State of Ohio Football before the Owls joined the MAC. Being in an NFC city, I hadn't known much about Ohio FB since a guy named Ickey Woods paid state taxes but has Ohio seen "decades of being terrible?" Upsan, your profile designates you as a journalist and I would presume Ohio graduated you with the knowledge that journalists must rely on facts, so I will have to defer to your education and assessment then....

Ohio Football's fans have lived through "decades of being terrible."

Really fellas, this is getting way too easy. Its like depositting a Dave Tobik hanging curve in the 2nd level at Old Tiger Stadium

PLEASE DON'T FEED THE TROLL!

The ironic thing is is unlikely that anyone posting here actually has even the slightest interest in Temple, or would even notice if Temple vanished tomorrow. This thread exists solely to feed the troll.

I'm only here as a countermeasure to idiocy....and provide diversion from the Casey Anthony story.

I mean, what else is there, its not like Congress is about to make a decision that will affect tens of millions of lives...

OK, so it was TUVideoGuy's argument that Temple's attendance is lower because there are so many other options in Philadelphia. Sorry for assigning it to the wrong Temple fan. But it still is interesting that being in a big market can be used as an excuse for low attendance by one fan and then be called such a huge advantage by another.

As for my statement, I have no idea what you are getting at. Ohio football was terrible for decades. There were nearly 40 years between bowl bids. I believe the best record during a 20-some-year stretch in the late 70s to mid 90s was 6-5. Similarly, Temple did not have a winning season from 1990-2008. While both teams have been much better the last few seasons, I still don't think it's nearly enough for most conferences to have interest in adding either school. I think both have a lot of work to do to convince a major conference their football programs really are turned around for the long-term.

Oh, I thought you were here because you're banned from the Temple fan site...which you are.  You're really pretty pathetic.

True, banned because I cancelled my membership and took my 1,000 view threads to their free board where I exposed the owner of the site for using aliases to generate controversy, argument and site hits.

So, Ive parked my schtick here for awhile and when this Administrator gets tired of all the additional traffic and views, he will ban me as well. Until then you'll just have to breath fire and spit rivots hanging on my every word

No, banned because of your behavior and language.  You act like a child.

Wears a boa.  A moron.

Please don't anyone respond with anything but insults to the guy.  Troll he is.  My drool (literally..I'm not being metaphoric) is of more value than anything boa wearer posts.

Poor Cat is hiding from the dummy who has a Dave Tobik baseball card and not a Mike Schmidt one.
