They've done these for several years now, but has anyone noticed any appreciable results? Other than some politician getting to shake hands on the field, it doesn't seem that this promotion does much of anything in driving attendance. Heck, I live in Athens...what do I get for Athens Day?

Maybe in turn the city governments declare it Ohio Day.  Those proclamations also always generate a lot of public interest.

I think these have been positive and I have noticed people from these areas in the past. Really helps in my opinion because the publicity puts the game out there in the community and gives people the idea.
