Hey guys, Troy guy here. Just wondering which two teams in the MAC are looking to be the best this year? I dont know a lot about the MAC conference as far as who has what. But Id just like to know since the MAC and SBC have typically been going head to head with their best at the end of the season bowls.

As far as the SBC conference is concerned it will probably be a similar year as last year unless FIU has an epic collapse (which is possible, See MTSU). Troy is losing Jerell Jernigan although we return Southward and our QB.   Troy should once again be on top for the 6th straight year. The university of Louisiana monroe may also be near the top, since they are going to have experience  with 27 seniors returning for this season. I see Troy having a 8 or 9 win regular season. depending on how well we play Arkansas, Clemson, and Navy.

Well, it's hard to pick a favorite. Media day was today and they went wtih Toledo with five votes of 13 to win. Northern Illinois and Miami each had three votes. NIU was picked just two points behind Toledo in the West Division. Miami was just one point ahead of Ohio in the East and had half as many (8-4) first place votes. Temple also got four first-place votes in the East and was third overall. Western Michigan also is considered a team that has a shot if things fall into place. Then there's always a team, like Miami last year, that isn't picked very high but comes out of nowhere to finish at or near the top.
