Didn't see a thread on this, and didn't know where to put it.  So here goes.

Temple 42 'Nova 0 in the 4th.  Owls looking good in the Addazio's debut.  I thought that Villanova would put up a better fight.  Then again they did lose two of their quicker guys (Sczcur and Babbaro) from last years FCS Semi-final team.  Good win for the Owls in week 1.  This should carry over next week and I expect the Owls to manhandle Akron next year.  Sorry Zippy. (EDIT: Nova just made it 42-7)

CMU 21 SCSU 6 in the 4th.  CMU is winning this game, but from what I've watch on the MAC's website, they haven't looked great.  SCSU really isn't a good team even on the FCS level, I'm sure that they're hoping it's just first week woes up in Mt. Pleasant.  (Also, it looks like there is NOBODY there in the stands. All you see is empty seats on the video).

UT 51 UNH 15 in the 4th.  Rockets taking care of the Wildcats, as they should.  Decent crowd at the Glass Bowl.  Danton has thrown 3 TD's, while Owens has thrown 2.  No INT's either.  Beckman should be rather pleased with his teams performance.

And Finally...
BGSU 14 Idaho 7 late in the first.  Falcons are in Moscow, playing decent football from the sounds of it.  Schilz and Cooper have hooked up for both of the Falcon's TDs, including a 76 yard pass to the endzone.

Thoughts on the first Thursday of College Football?

All I can say is I'm excited that it's back!  Can't wait for the Green and White on Saturday.  Wish i was able to make it to NM.

BG has rattled off 27 unanswered points after Idaho's opening drive TD. They lead 27-7 now early in the second quarter.
