Anyone know when season tickets are mailed out?  I'm a first time ticket holder and am curious.

I actually posted the same question three days ago on the Green and White Club board and have not yet gotten a response. Hopefully since this board gets more traffic, we'll get an answer. I figured that since the deadline for renewing tickets was almost two months ago, they would have assigned seats and mailed out tickets by now, but maybe I'm just overly eager!

My email receipt that I got after I purchased the tickets actually specifies seats, so I know they're assigned.

I talked to the someone in the ticket office last Wednesday and she said it should be the end of the week ending 8/26. We will see.

There's no reason these shouldn't be in hand by August 15...why cut it even somewhat close? I know they're just trying to make it easier to have one large mailing, but easier for AD staff doesn't mean easier for us!

I see two people listed under tickets... two.....  we've got to stop killing our Athletic Department staff...  

No wonder people leave Athens so quickly... they're over-worked, under-paid and then have to deal with people on a message board throwing them under the bus constantly....

I'm telling you, I miss the credit card tickets so much. I really enjoyed having them, and scratched my head a little when we went back to paper tickets. Seems like the credit cards give the ticket office the ultimate flexibility in managing accounts. Send the cards out, then do the Ryan Carey programming on the back end. With the paper tickets, we deal with printing costs, quality issues, and the associated delays.

I'm not taking a shot at the ticket office, but I kind of agree - these should be in hand in early August. Last year, I'm pretty sure I had to pick up my season tickets on the day of the Toledo game (#2).

It's like the season ticket holders keep getting a kick in the ass for a sustained commitment.

Again, I don't blame the people in the ticket office - I blame the infrastructure.

The credit card tickets were cool, but extremely expensive.  That is why they were discontinued.  I know we would all like our tickets earlier, but why does it matter if we have them in hand August 1st or August 31st?  We will have them 2 weeks before the first game.  I am not in a huge rush to get my premium seats up on ebay or Stubhub, so I don't care when i get them.

I bought mine with the promo that offers the Touchdown Club seats for the Miami Game. That said, I have zero confirmation on the TD Club seats and not sure how to go back and tie the purchase to that promo in order to prove it happened.

As far as when I get my tickets, no big deal to me. Week of 1st Home Game wouldn't really upset me.

Yeah, I don't really care when I get the tickets, as long as it's before the first game. But I'd like to have at least received a confirmation of my order and I'd really like to know what seats I'm going to have. At the time of my order, all I knew was the best available seats in my seating area.

If anyone actually has received them yet please post. I understand that tickets sometimes come close to the first game but still I am getting concerned. I received single game tickets from Michigan close to a month ago. True there are many more people in their  ticket office but they have a lot more orders also and it wasn't season tickets but single game tickets.

Mine just arrived.  Included is a letter from Frank on a blank piece of paper - no Bobcat logo or university letterhead.  Seems sub-optimal.

Got mine in the mail today, the Solich letter was nice, the kind of the thing that I would put together on my computer to say "my bad for it taking so long to get the tickets", plus a nice little card for discounts.

Season tickets with letter from Frank and Green lot parking pass came in yesterdays mail..  Looking forward to the season. 

I would like to see something about geting Frank to extend a couple more years beyond next year.  I think next year is his eighth year and the last on the present contract.

I got mine yesterday. As I figured, I did not get any direction as to how we get the free upgrades promised for the Miami Game to the Touchdown Club. What's worse is I have no paper trail or confirmation stating I bought the tickets under that promotion. Jeeeezzz!
