BSU 27-Indiana 20. Truly neutral site game in Indy -- about halfway between Muncie & Bloomington. Announced attendance: 40,224
For a while I thought MTSU would beat the MAC to a win over a Big Tedozen team his year, but they lost late at Purdue.

The MAC had a solid opening week. A record of 3-0 against FCS teams and 3-0 against non-BCS opponents. The upset against Indiana was nice by Ball State because that was completely unexpected for a team picked 5th in the MAC West. I wish Miami could of held on for that win over Missouri. That is the type of game the MAC needs to win to move forward in national perception. Boise State is going to have its hands full when it goes on the road to play at Toledo on Sept 16th.

Good opening week for the MAC
The only loses were road games at BCS schools. Ohio and BGSU won against the WAC. Ball State with a win over a BCS team. Toledo and Temple beat two traditional FCS powers by wide margins. Miami held Missouri to just 17 points. NIU won big as well. They other losses really were expected vs ranked BCS powers. Overall MAC came claim week 1 as going as good as it could hope for. We won all the game we should and managed to steal one over Indiana.
