good for tucky.  good for columbus.

rocket takes fair catch on punt on their own five?!!  leading to a columbus td.

rocket leading world in false starts, leading to columbus punt return for td and game lead.

columbus' d-linemen take hugely wide splits.  seems to me that working from the pistol leaves the running unable to get to the line quickly to take advantage of the huge d-line splits.  gotta have 'under center' in the arsenal.

am i more convinced than ever that a power running game is a key for us.  yes, thank you.

Toledo down 5 with the ball and a chance to win. Is this real life?

BTN announcer with four minutes to go and O$U leading 27-22:  "Ohio State fans looking to enjoy a win over Toledo."

No way.  Even if they win, there's no way O$U fans will enjoy this one.  They're not happy unless they beat a MAC (or most any) school by at least four TDs.  They've booed Bauserman several times and I'm sure tomorrow's Dispatch will have a ton of e-mails calling for Fickel to be fired.

It has been a reality check day for O$U.

rocket recovers fumble at their own 23 with a bit under 4 minutes to go.  and they bring in their 2nd qb, who has only played, i think, one other series in the game.  bad, bad move.  he;s driving them.  but i just don't like the substitution.  if the 2nd guy 'has it' then he should have been brought in earlier in the 2nd half since rocket hasn't don't anything on offense in the 2nd half.

We would have smashed it down their throats on that last drive by running our FB when close to the goal line on first rather than third down.  Right, Monroe?

true.  and maybe i'm stupid my criticisms about last week's nmsu, given that nmsu leads minne 21-14 mid way thru the 3rd quarter at minne.

totally agree..  looked like the toledo coach was paid off to take a dive in the 4th
.. leave your  qb on the bench when the chips are down ?  jesus wtf .. your starting qb and that Page guy basically get your team in position . ..then .. what the hell.. unless he has a broken leg .. ya got to give your guy the game win or lose.. way to show confidence in your qb

the Minnesota head coach just had something happen...seizure or something...hope he's ok.  He was real still...then started flopping around like crazy before BTN realized better cut away.

Best Toledo excuse yet: "Ohio State got us in the perfect Trap game, as our team was looking ahead to the big home match next week with Boise State."
