The really interesting one there is Washington State: 25 carries, 23 yards, 2 TDs.

Whcih means they probably top the Passing Defense rankings...

14th -- so not tops, but close!  Interestingly, NIU actually ran all over Army, too (289 yards on the ground complimenting their 220 through the air).  I thought Northern looked pretty good, and they picked up votes in the preseason polls, and added to them this week (5 votes in AP, 13 in Coaches).
