I didn't think Ohio played too many games on CBS Sports Net though I'd speculate our game at San Diego State will probably be on there and maybe Florida Atlantic since that is usually where good G5 non-conferences go with the MWC, AAC and MAC all having sublicence with CBS Sports.

What about those sub-freezing late season weeknight games?

Are those not on CBS SN?

In the past, at least, those have been on ESPN+, sometimes a higher ESPN network.

The pattern in football generally is CBS Sports with G5 or Uconn, UMass, Navy, Army against the MAC. CBS Sports with a couple of Saturday games for the MAC. ESPN+ with the majority of Saturday MAC games. Then ESPN2 or ESPNU for the midweeks. CBS Sports picks up 1 or 2 midweek games.

We have a few b-ball games on CBSSN and they do carry some midweek MACtion games in Nov but we're usually in the Tuesday night rotation on ESPN. The Saturday MAC games on CBSSN are few and usually with Kent, Akron or Toledo or one of the rare Nov Saturday games. If your provider doesn't carry CBSSN, you're probably SOL in getting it online. Its website requires you to give a provider and it doesn't seem to be on Paramount Plus with other CBS programming. As for the SDSU game, it's one of only a handful of games that weekend, so it'll likely be om ESPN or CBSSN, maybe even over-the-air CBS since they don't have the SEC anymore and they carry MWC games.

Any of the internet-based cable options? (e.g. Fubo, Sling, Hulu Live, whatever Youtube's is called)

I like streaming, I have DirectStream (used to be AT&T stream). But Spectrum internet and streaming is part of my rent when I get to my new digs in Athens. Maybe I can sit on my free month for those other streams offering such that have CBS SN? Things cost too much to pay for both Spectrum streaming and one of the others. ESPN+ at $10 a month as an add-on is a good deal and I will keep it.

YouTubeTV has it. At $75 a month it's a pricey add-on to Spectrum but it's a fair substitute. I dumped DirecTV for it a few months ago. Its app is inadequate on my tablet; it doesn't update to show upcoming programming as the day goes on. You only see what was on when you logged in. It works okay on my laptop, so it could just be my tablet. Unfortunately,, my TV won't download the app.

That's good news. Their website is wrong then.

On mine (I live near Coolville) it is channel 1322 or something. I did add an extra sports package for like $5.

Maybe that's why the basic semi-decent channel package didn't list it...but $5 a month for an extra sports package (like 17 cents a day) is quite reasonable. ESPN+ was around $6 a month back when I first got it...now it's $10.

Realistically, with cable/satellite scrips dropping by the millions per year each year, where do you see the MAC going on their next tv deal?
Is it time to go with one of the digi-subs like BeIn Sports or Stadium? Maybe they can go to something larger like the CW? Or do they stream exclusively with the likes of ESPN+ or Peacock?
