Not only is wide receiver stacked, but every tight end returns plus the addition of the 6'7'' guy from Youngstown State.

I wonder how/if Quintell Quinn will be used next year. Will he return to linebacker or remain a listed running back. It seems now the depth is needed more at linebacker.
I wonder if the kid from YSU can tackle.... tall edge rusher with speed...

JJ Watt style.

Quintell Quinn is a beast, he can do it all. He won't be there long if does not see the field .

Agree, mountin boy. I've been excited to see Quinn playing for OUr team since following him in the 2020 state playoffs for DeSales.

From a reliable source: Quinn will get first-team snaps in spring practice with Bangura taking time off.

Then it doesn’t make sense to me that he didn’t get a few snaps when we were playing no schollie backs this past season.

And with O'Shaan Allison returning as well?

Also, newly signed Freshman RB Rickey Hunt is already on the roster meaning he's an early enrollee to be available for spring ball.

Looks like we're still in the market for another punter. Jack Wilson is the only one listed on the roster.

We just offered Emilio Duran of Ottawa Hills HS in Toledo.

This reeks of CJ Hankins when someone on this board said he was better than Eichenberg. (Must've meant the Eichenberg of the NAIA)

Considering we had to pull McCormick out of the stands to start last season, and spend most of the season as a back-up after both Ross and Allison went down, I find it wildly hard to believe Q2 is about to set the world on fire.

Happy to be proven wrong, we need the depth for sure, but lets manage expectations here.

Hard to imagine anything more than our 3rd or 4th RB. Especially with Allison back, McCormick entering his 3rd season in the offense, Ricky Hunt enrolling early...

There's only one ball and this is a passing offense.

I think you mean Jake Neatherton who was a 6th year?

McCormick was on the roster in 2021/2022. Neatherton wasn't originally on the roster at the start of this season.

And assuming everyone is healthy, it's going to be Bangura starting, Allison as backup and McCormick 3rd string. I don't see how a healthy Allison passes Bangura (who just rushed for over 1000 yards this season) for the starting spot. Just my two cents here.

For the Penn State game, Quinn was listed as the 3rd string WLB, behind Houston and Kelly:

With Kelly gone, he would be the 2d string WLB next year, and the starter in 2024. At RB, he seems to be well down the list. Considering his potential bright future at WLB, the only reason to keep him at RB is if he is showing the potential to be in the top 2.

Is it your assumption that Hunt is a redshirt this year? I would assume he would have would move past McCormick if he plays. Given the Cat's history of injuries, whoever stays healthy will get a significant amount of carries. I do agree with Bangura as the starter--he's a special talent who could put up insane numbers if he stays healthy all year.

Yeah exactly, whoever remains healthy will get the PT. I'm only saying McCormick at 3rd just based on the amount of snaps he got last year due to all the injuries.

In todays game its not smart to have a running back be a work horse. If the coach was smart he would let the backs compete .That makes for better production. That's a good reason why the starter is banged up at the end of the season. In the MAC championship game if O.U would had used more than one back it would had been a better out come.
