We're a middle of the pack FCS team. Some can say that's embarrassing. Others realize it just means we won't be going to the *insert insurance company* *insert vegetable* bowl.

Does it really matter?

If you aren't in the P5 in football, you might as well be FCS. At some point the MAC will realize this. Or maybe not.

I don't trust our Athletic Director to make a sound decision on this. Thank you, Frank Solich, for bringing joy and optimism for a time to this program, but Ohio as a minor league program for an equally awful Nebraska program needs to end. THis program needs a new direction. Period.

It's the sad reality that we all must realize and accept. I spend way too much time caring about Ohio football and for what?

I always like to see us do well and win a bowl game but in the grand scheme of things no one cares...at all in the slightest.

Oh well

Did we leave too much time on the clock with the TD pass to J. Jones?

Glad the refs are helping us to stay in the game. Please note the sarcasm.

Couple of things. Cross the Fordham coach off the search committee list. The unsportsmanlike was costly. And just fall on the hall at the end. I’m still done.

I am happy for our kids. I am absolutely embarrassed by our coaching staff and the state of the program right now. Hat's off to Fordham for owning us most of the day.

Hopefully no one else looks at the stats or box score. That needs to be buried and never talked about again (at least the Fordham side of things)

What do the numbers 33, 74, 9, 45, 25, & 84 mean?

Are those the amount of people needed to clean out Albin’s office…?

This was a top 20 FCS team. I am glad I said it takes 60 to win this game but I was wrong. It only took 59. I do think we get two or three more wins but the program needs new blood and to move on from the Solich related era.

I'm torn. On the one hand, there was coaching malpractice by Albin and crew (what on earth was that 4th down delay of game penalty and then going for it on 4th and 11?) Additionally, our defense took ten steps back.

On the other hand, that was a thrilling victory. Rourke put up video game numbers. The run game looked better. We came through in the clutch which almost never happens.

Rourke has looked impressive against FAU and Fordham. Not so much v. PSU and ISU. Let's see how he does against MAC foes.

On the bright side, that was a new Ohio record for most yards in a game. The 692 eclipsed the prior record of 664 against UMass. The 537 yards passing beat a record from 1983 of 409 yards. The 4 TD passes was in a multi-tie for 2d best. 41 completions was also a record, topping the old high of 35 from 1986.

On and individual level Kurtis was:
Passing completions in a game: 41 #1
Passing yards in a game: 537 #1
Attempts in a game: 50 #8 (tie)
TD Passes in a game: 4 #2 (tie)
Completion Pct: .820 #5

So, the good news is that the offense may set some records this year. The bad news is that the defense may set some records this year, too, but not good ones.

Also in the good news area, special teams was much better this week.

If we can’t have him, can we at least have his Offensive Coordinator? Either way - big step up in game planning and management.

We had nearly 700 yards of offense to his team's nearly 600. Our starting back was in street clothes. You want his offensive coordinator?

What happened to Keye? That last play doesn’t show anything that says he needed to be carted off
