I hope this is a sign of big things to come from this guy...he is a quite shy dude but has a great heart. With his size and speed I have wondered why the HECK he is not on the front line for kick off and even punt team duty..He seems to get lost in practice some days and I think that he doesnt pick up on the defense quickly as others but seriously isnt it a coaches job to find some way for this guy to contribute. He went after the NMSU QB like he was bringing HELL with him...Can you not unleash this beast on passing downs and at least have him on special teams...if he can mature and learn how to play the game watch out because he has the measurables of a freak. Look at this video ..all I can say is WOW.

A pass rusher is quick and athletic.

That's a start....then you work on the moves and technique that make you even more of a threat.

If he keeps his speed and puts on some weight....a 6'5"-250+ DE like him would be awesome.

According to the game notes and box score, Nic didn't participate. But he still leads the team in sacks and TFL - all from the New Mexico game...what ever the case is, I hope he shows up with a few more TFL against the herd.

According to Arkley on Twitter he did play. The non-participation was a mistake (along with some others he says). I'm not sure if he recorded any stats though.
