I saw just a piece of the Wellston episode and thought it was quite good.  What I saw was centered around Chris Speilman (other than Wellston HS).  In my mind, Spielman is unique among ESPN / O$U celebrities in his ability to connect with just about anyone.  The man seems genuinely interested in helping people and sincere in his off camera civic pursuits.  From the little bit I saw it wan't clear if any of the support to Wellston was his alone but that would not surprise me.

Just caught the reair on ESPNU this afternoon.  Really, really enjoyed it, as Wellston and really all the schools around SEO hold a very special place in my heart after the last four years.

Wish we could see more of this (TV show or not) around the area, because I think we all know there are lots of schools and towns in the region in very similar shape.
