This post was on my son's Facebook today, wanted to share it because I believe he is speaking for every former Bobcat............"Might be missing it more today then any other since I took the #81 off for the last time. Ring the Bell tonight fellas. Do it BIG for me and every other Bobcat of the past. Play fast and play hard with the strength of the 1000s of us that once knew that field as you do now. Its a night for history, make it a night for BOBCAT HISTORY".  Hope that we are watching the start of somethng very big for Ohio football tonight.

The question is who is Ohio's "Gipper" that we should win one for?  Bill Hess?  Don Peden?  Ralph O'Bleness?  Pete McClaren? There are other more recent candidates, but I think it ought to be someone from an earlier era.  What do you think?  Who would you nominate?

Not sure about the Gipper.

Gauging from the airs of this board, I do believe that one is to bless himself/herself in the name of the Gentleman, the Ace and the Holy Geno. So I guess any of those would be appropriate.

Maybe Boo is the Gipper because he holds all the passing records. Too tough to gauge the way the prevailing winds blow on this board, though they do blow...

But what do I know,  I'm an Orthodox Bowlsitarian with some Basrafarian leanings...

Maybe I should have titled this differently, just know that many have gone before and would love nothing more than to be in the battle tonight.  Meant play for those who have gone before and for yourselves, the game is important to everyone that is a true Bobcat.

Sorry for the joke. Sometimes it's just fun to come up with the most obscure Bobcat name you can :)

Your original post was awesome. It's great to see some of the graduated players still keeping in touch with the team and rooting on the Cats!

Not just keeping up with the Cats, he is on the coaching staff as Offensive Quality Control, working with the OL.
