I am so happy we are making the trip to Rutgers Saturday.  I'm pulling the boys out of school Thursday and Friday for a couple family vacation/education days in NYC, then were off to the game in Piscataway Saturday afternoon.  Weather forecast is 71 and sunny for the game.  I hope several others that were on the fence, decide to make the trip next weekend.  I may wear even wear all black to the game.

I can't make it because my graduate consortium is meeting next weekend. Bummer. The biggest thing I gathered from the Marshall victory is that this team can execute against a physical D1 opponent. Blasting NMSU or Gardner Webb was one thing but Marshall is physical like a BCS though poorly coached. Rutgers looking at the numbers doesn't have the offense of Ohio. It will be a tough game but I think Ohio has enough weapons on offense to prevail. I would have to put Ohio as the favorite in the MAC. Temple is about the same as in past years and hasn't been a problem. I think we can take Toledo in Detroit. The Cats have an offense very difficult to prepare for and a Offensive Line that can really push the MAC around.

Did anyone else on the student section side notice a little blob of red in the middle of the stands of the press box in the first few rows?  Is it possible that some people from Rutgers came down to check us out?

That was a youth football team and parents wearing jerseys.

I think those were red jerseys, maybe a high school or youth team?

It was the jr. high football team from Woodsfield Jr. High. They are part of the Monroe Central School District.

reading the rutgers message board on rivals.com there is a line that has them at 6 point favorites, don't know which one though.  Idk if this applies to all betting sites but they said that they get 3 points just for being the home team if that's any indication so I guess in reality it's 3 points...hopefully this won't be like us being the 4.5 favorites over Marshall.
