I'm pregaming uptown. Lots of good green. Not a lot of red. There's a definite buzz in the air. This is the game that establishes us as a program. If we can't win this one, here, now, we have not arrived.

Even better barometer: I just learned that my wife's 15 year old cousin, a die hard Buckeye fan, is skipping the osu game to come to Peden tonight. If you knew this kid, you would not believe it. I barely do. But he will be in Athens O-H-I-O tonight to cheer on the Fightin' Frankies.

Watching some of these MAC teams today...no one is that great. Tonight we need to assert ourselves as the team to beat in this league. Go Cats!!

My non-booz buzz continued after the beatdown because of two post game events.  The awesome back flip by the 110 trumpet player during "Cheer" AND a recruit with his parents hanging around to the last and when I asked him what he thought, "Oh, I love this place"!!!!!! Go Cats Go!  Here's hoping there were many more with this young man's enthusiasm who now have an identical  opinion--further, here's hoping they have 3-4 stars on Rival.

I have seen a lot more "Go Bobcats" posted on marquee boards around town than usual.  It's amazing how much more local support you get when the team is doing good.
