Last week Elton claimed the Bobcats didn't deserve much credit for their record because they hadn't played anybody, adding that "they will take a significant step up in competition when they face Marshall this week. And Marshall is not New Mexico State."

This week, he's still criticizing the schedule, claiming that NMSU, G-W and Marshall are weaklings.

Oh, and he points to Miami as one of the true league leaders, regardless of 0-2 record, because they have played Missouri (valid point) and Minnesota (a team NMSU defeated).

The guy is an idiot.

Elton is not the best writter based on this and other articles he has written. His choice of words is poor. What he should have said about The Bobcats is "They are 3-0 and have won the games they were expected to win with their easy schedule." "However, when you win as decisively as they have, average scoring margin 28 points, we must take notice."
