This could well be an undefeated season for Ohio. I saw a talented, disciplined, extremely well coached team on the field last night. Solich put on a clinic for a young Marshall team that clearly wasn't ready to play. I hope This is a senior laden team, wouldn't want that to happen in Huntington next year!
As an aside, Young Thundering Herd QB Reggie Oliver ended up in my section and we had a Kodak moment. All in all it was a fun evening.
This Ohio team is top 25 material.

We think so, but the strength of our schedule may hold us back. NMSU may have helped our cause with their win at Minn last week (although they lost at home to UTEP last night). And of course if Marshall goes out and has a good season that would be a boost too, so for mostly selfish reasons we hope you beat Tech next week and go on to have a good year. Cato's going through that tough learning process that all freshman QBs go through. He has real potential.
We had a lot of questions about our own team going into the season: an inexperienced soph QB; a whole new D line; a young D secondary. It's been great watching them step up to the task. Should be a fun year.

Glad to see at least a couple gracious Herd fans post-game over here. I thought we'd win, but I never expected that. I was funny expecting a one-possession slog of a game like the last couple have been. Granted, the ball could hardly have bounced worse for you guys in the first half, but I was thoroughly impressed by our team. I am extremely excited about the rest of our season.
Good luck to you all the rest of the way!
