too early lets win some games before we annouce the second coming. this offensive scheme is what ohio has needed is coach albin now a genius last yr you guys called for his job.

Well, maybe OUr voices were heard b/c since then we've stopped running the zone-read play up the middle for 0 yards, three downs in a row.
This year, on the other hand, we've seen an improved scheme that actually utilizes OUr strengths and gets OUr play makers the ball in space. I love all of OUr misdirection and how we keep the D guessing. We've opened up the books for the right fit at QB. #4 has been learning this offense for several years and he has a command of it. I look for him to continue to improve and hopefully lead this team through a great season.

Play I would like to see more of:
Mashed potatoes up the gut.
It's tough to defend.

They'll obviously save it for an impact situation, but I'm eager to see them throw some wrinkles into the playbook as the season goes along based off that read-option play and the option they run to the edge. With Bates playing wideout, there are a lot of things they can do in terms of throwbacks, reverses and flea-flickers.

Need to save those for game-changing moments, though.

I love the play where Tettleton fakes the ball into the belly of the RB, appears to be running it and then flexes back into the pocket to throw the ball. With this good of an offensive line, they're good enough to hold their water while all this develops.Having Flading out there on the edge really buys them time for those trick plays.

Offensive tackle is a damn important position.

Tettleton seems to have the poise of Austen Everson, combined with the accuracy of Sammy Shon.

I've said it for 3 games now, Tettleton is one of the nicest guys on the field.  LOL.  He has helped up his tackler more than a few times this year. . . .

I always like to see that.  To me it's a sign of good sportsmanship.  Late in the game I noticed one of our freshman defensive players helping up the guy he had just tackled.  Can't remember the name right now.  On the flip side, I just hate to see players taunt opposing team members.  Thanks, Ryan, for pointing this out about T2.

For my money, I'd take TT over Boo or T3 any day, and it has nothing to do with athletic ability. (although he is by no means not talented)  It has everything to do with leadership.  I loved Boo and T3, and have the utmost respect for their time spent serving Ohio.  They were both great ambassadors for the school.

The primary difference for them both v TT in my eyes is that both Boo and T3 were well liked by their teammates, but I'm not sure they had the command and leadership qualities that TT is showing.  I always felt Boo and Theo had a "California Cool" quality about them that made them immensely likable, but I'm not sure they could really push their teammates beyond their limits to perform, and I think TT is doing that.

I was fortunate to get to go to NMSU and take the game in on the sidelines, and I saw a lot of AE in TT.  And for those of us that speak highly of AE, it was never his athletic ability that we stood behind, but his will to win and his ability to lead.

That is what I think we are seeing in TT, and I hope he can keep performing at this level, and with this confidence.

And BTW, he is immensely likable as well.

I think that Tylers teammates realize his potential and are on board 200%. I haven't seen the effort that each of the Bobcats put forth against Marshall in a long time. They realize that they have something special this year and that they have the potential to go as far as they want.

If they bring the same enthusiasm and composure to Rutgers they have a very good chance of winning.
