I don't pump gas, I pump fists.
Love it.

They sell shirts with this on them at the shore... I want to get one so bad but haven't gotten around to it. I HATE not being able to pump my own gas when I'm in NJ. It just feels unnatural to let someone else do it for me.

Ok now back to the topic at hand.

The first time I ever pumped gas was on my way to Ohio for Spring Quarter freshman year. I was pretty flustered...

No self-serve in Oregon; still requires a station attendant to pump the gas.

My girlfriend is from North Jersey but now lives in PA. She has just about mastered pumping her own gas. The first few times I had to help her out. I see elderly people with NJ plates here in DE at the gas pumps with looks of confusion on their faces. Once a man who looked to be in his late 70s was so confused I started to head over to help him out but another guy beat me to it. He was very appreciative.

Hat to admit it but I remember when all gas stations were full serve.  They had attendants ('pump jockeys") who not only pumped the gas, but also checked the oil, checked the tires and washed the windows -- all for the price of gas.  They also had people called m-e-c-h-a-n-i-c-s who would actually fix your car.  I remember being somewhat miffed when they started self-serve, not only because I was too lazy to get my butt out of the car but also because they charged you full price even though you did most of the work.

Okay, now I feel sorry for Rutgers. And they are in New Jersey for goodness sakes! Not much hope there. Well, there's Snookie : )

You are the Ohio optimist.Coincidental that I am an RU OPTIMIST.Therefore I am much more OPTIMISTIC than you about the outcome of the game. You had the points correct but not the TEAMS. It's the other way around.RU-31  Ohio-13.I expect us to handle Ohio in the same way that we handled Ball St.,in the Bowl Game, the year before they went 12-0.We have a ton of guys that are going to play in the NFL before they are through and they get better in every game that is played.Enjoy your visit to NJ,if you are making the trip,if not watch it as I will(retired in Fl.) on ESPN3.
