If this doesn't get you going, I don't know that there is any hope. I realize there is a lot of debate on here about our scheduling philosophy, but how can you argue with it right now? How can you not be excited about the prospect of being undefeated? How can you not like that we are already getting recognition with Top 25 votes despite our schedule?
I tailgated outside Peden on Saturday and I was there for the beatdown. I have not been around Ohio Football near as long as many of you, but the energy, the buzz, the anticipation and the excitement around this team and around this program is at a major high. I felt it in Peden on Saturday night and it gives me chills. The last time I felt this good was when we ran through the MAC tourney as a 9 seed and stomped the Hoyas! I believe I will be higher than that with a win over Rutgers on Saturday if I am not right now.
Have your opinions on the small things that the department does or does not do well, you are entitled to them. Have your opinion on scheduling, you are entitled to it. Regardless of all of that, this team, this program, this athletic department is headed in the right direction! From improvement to our olympic sports, to improvement in facilities, to improvement in exposure, to improvement in football and basketball, to improvement in support, to relentless...OHIO Athletics is relevant!
