Penn State better score a couple of defensive touchdowns if it wants to cover. That's an UGLY offense. But if any team can make it look good, it would be Eastern.

CMU covers but loses.
Toledo finally gets their first FBS win, and a BCS one at that, but not the droids they are looking for.
Penn State covers.
Temple keeps it close again, but comes up short (they cover).
I'll take Miami by more than 4.5.
I think Ball State should have a decent shot at Army -- toss-up in my eyes.
Ohio wins outright.
Dear lord, if Akron loses this one.... (but it wouldn't surprise me.  They are bad).
Kent and NIU should be fine.
Illinois covers.
UCONN @ Buffalo... UCONN hasn't really impressed me at all, but neither has Buffalo.  I'll say UCONN wins by <9.

Wow!!!

So if I am reading this right, except for the games where a MAC school is either playing another MAC school or a FCS school....

the MAC teams are the dogs in every game this weekend.  If I were a betting man....this would be a good weekend to make a little cash.

For me I think Toledo, Ohio and Temple get outright wins let alone covering.

87Alum,  I think you're right on the money -- except I just have hunch that Western is going to upset Illinois.  They could have beaten UMich if they hadn't self destructed in the Red Zone several times.

Toledo (+2.5) @ Syracuse (Toledo looking to rebound)
Eastern Michigan (+29) @ Penn St. (I don't think I've picked EMU yet, and I don't think I've been right yet)
Temple (+9.5) @ Maryland (I like turtles)
Bowling Green @ Miami (OH) (-4.5) (I think BUGS is the better team, wins outright)
Army @ Ball St. (+4) (Not enough points. Maybe BallS will surprise me.)
Ohio (+4) @ Rutgers (Really hope I'm wrong, but I don't think we can match last week's intensity, and Rutgers has had 2 weeks to prepare)
VMI @ Akron (No line) (Kron sucks)
South Alabama @ Kent St. (No line)
Cal Poly @ Northern Illinois (No line)
Western Michigan (+13) @ Illinois (WMU pulls off the upset and wins outright)
UConn @ Buffalo (+9)  (Buffalo sucks)
