...and we thought that blocked extra point by Wyoming vs BG was bad!

you know, we played a decent second half. but you can't pee yourself that badly in the first half and expect to win. Only fitting that a total dumbshit penalty clinches it.

Oh well, we will be able to learn from this game and it will pay dividends in conference play.

Coaches need to look in the mirror today, both sides of the ball. We lost to the 7th place team in the Big east, they will struggle to go 6-6 and make a bowl. Just a joke as far of execution today!

No answer for Sanu
Stoopid, Stoopid penalties

We have 3 timeouts Frank...I don't care if it's 18 points, you should be coaching till the end.

This^^

Rutgers is a team that I think we are capable of beating, but today it just wasn't in the cards.  The coaching staff will look at this game in films and hopefully correct the mistakes we made.

If we had to lose a game this year, I'd rather it be to a BCS opponent than Temple or Fiami.

Once they changed from the chat room that had the sounds, it went downhill... I miss the toilet sounds - which would have been rampant today. Flushing my own toilet just doesn't have the same effect and it's wasteful. Give a hoot...

But that is only a very, very small blemish on the great things Ryan and co. have done...

never seen a defense, up 18, under 3 minutes, jumping offsides so much. Rutgers is acting desperate.

I blame all of this on the issues with ESPN3 and TWC, if we had been able to watch the game this wouldn't have happened. Down with Roadrunner.

Okay, not that we had more than a 0.0000001% chance of coming back, but why not call the timeouts in last 100 seconds? Make them punt, try to score and get an onside kick.

Who are we, Ohio State? (I know, low blow.)

Even Frank was off his game today.

I watched the entire game -- no issues with ESPN3.

Once the onside kick failed using the TO's made no sense.  We needed 2 TD's to win. Not gonna happen in 1:39 especially with Rutgers having the ball where they did.

Frank didn't fumble 4 times so you can't blame him for the loss.

According to my Big Book O' Football Lore, turnovers, stupid penalties, poor pass defense and homer officiating translates into a 12 point loss on the road.

I hope they come off of this mad as hell and beat the living crap out of Kent next week.  I'm still P.O.'ed about last season's loss to those yahoos.

Not blaming the loss on Frank, or obviously not on the last two minutes. Just saying, why concede?

It was just the capper on a crappy day, that's all.

I beg to differ.  There were two plays in particular that I got pretty upset about.  The one was the total BS pass interference call that set Frank and the defensive coordinator off.  The second was an obvious late hit on LeVon with the Umpire standing right there watching the play and he did nothing.  Don't tell me the officiating wasn't biased.  They were Big Least refs and I think they called us for 9 penalties vs. their 6.

That isn't to say that any of them were game changers but its hard enough to win on the road as it is without the Refs screwing you over.

I don't see it that way.  Rutgers earned/won the game.  Ohio was coming off a supreme effort.  I  would have expected the team to be a little flat, but, I don't think they were, credit to our coaches.  Credit to Rutgers.  Their players made more plays. Ours made me proud with the plays they made, but, there were turnovers, Ohio made too many.  They were spread over different players and were by players giving great effort. Rutgers had turnovers/drops/penalties too.  Ohio played well enough to make me proud, they won't win em all.  When the other team has earned the win, and Rutgers did, using those timeouts would have been lame.  JMHO .
