Has this guy been a pleasent surprise or what? I continue to be amazed at how he ALWAYS seems to be around the ball. A couple of fumble recoveries and a strip against Marshall, and now 10 tackles and a pick against Kent. With all the injuries we have had, it's nice to have someone step up big time.

Despite his size, he played real big. He is very quick and knows where to be. We needed him today, on a day few were playing inspired football.

Versus the days of yore when we looked physically mismatched (height/weight) across the board, we no longer seem to have that disparity. (evidenced against Rutgers, where I think you can now see us looking more like a BCS team)
HOWEVER, we do look small at LB v the competition, which I think is Frank's preference for speed over size.
If the trade off is grit like Nathan exhibits, then I'm all for it.. Granted he was recruited as a DB instead of LB, but he sure exhibits a LB mentality.
