The consensus now is 60% chance of rain with high in high 40s or low 50s, with a steady wind about 10-15 MPH.

But the stalwart fans will not be thwarted...right?

Well, weather.com says showers in the morning "becoming less numerous by afternoon."   Weather Bug is similar: "Showers likely . . . mainly in the morning.  Cooler with highs in the lower 60s."  OCF says "clear and sunny by game time!"

The next thing you know, we'll learn that the pre-game meal is turkey, mashed potatoes & gravy, and stuffing. Then, just as the 110 is starting a Huey Lewis and the News pre-game show, a Delorean driven by Doug Martin will appear out of nowhere midfield.

God, I wish I could burn Nov. 26, 2010 out of my memory. Can we please just win this game and move on to Buffalo?

No matter what it does tomorrow, it still cannot compare to the weather for my last two trips to Kent.  Last year was awful, but whatever year it was (2006 I think) that the game was delayed for lightning/hail/snow/50mph winds takes the cake.

Tomorrow's weather will only affect tailgating.  It could cancel breakfast and force us to get into Tailgreat at 10:30-11:00 instead of an hour earlier.  Obviously, I would prefer sunny and 72.  I'll gladly sit through the poor conditions if the Cats can get a 3 touchdown win.

Come on!  This is football weather, people.  Just remember, you could be at a soccer game instead.

Always loved this type of weather.  Just put a little Ronrico 151 in a flask and you're all set.  One of the most memorable games of my undergrad years was on a chilly, blustery day in Nov.  Dayton was in (back when they had really good teams) and had us down at the half.  As the 110 played the 5th Dimension's "Let the Sun Shine In" at halftime, the skies suddenly parted and there was this beam of sunshine engulfing the field.  The second half was still tough, but the team played better.  It was 14-13 (I think) with about 30 seconds left.  The Cats lined up for a field goal, but it was blocked.  The ball rolled past the 1st down marker and (a la Leon Lett) a Dayton player tried to pick it up.  The Cats fell on it with less than 10 seconds left and booted the winning field goal.  Magic.

You are the man drinkin that stuff......last time I drank some of that I destroyed our kitchen table on First Street.

I do think I'll bring a guest tomorrow....Mr. Jim Beam....Devils Cut.....onlu 90 proof...haha.

The "angels cut" is natural bourbon barrel evaporation....the "devils cut" has always been that whiskey that soaked into the wood...now JB has an extraction process.....very smooth......just the right kick.

I will be at some soccer games tomorrow morning. I am trying to find a way to make it to the game though.

I'll be hustling back to Newark to catch a 7 p.m. soccer match, my daughter's first game under the lights. Hoping for a big Ohio lead and an early exit.

We finally get a Saturday afternoon game and it's uuuggglllyyy in Athens right now.  For those of you who haven't left yet and are coming down 33, leave a bit of extra time.  There is a construction site or two that takes traffic down to one lane.  Not sure if it will be finished by Homecoming but if not, really leave some extra time with the smoked meat festival in Nelsonville that weekend too.

Can't wait until the bypass around that roadbump is finally completed.

If the wind is blowing in Athens like it is here, the ground game will play a HUGE role today.

Also, with this wind at their backs Hershey could be capable of a 90-yard punt and Weller could hit from 65.
