Great video, great, great effort by the 110.

Y'know what's not so great?  A lot of empty seats on a clearly great day for football.

Y'know what else is not so great?  OUr colors are green and white.  Get the *%$#( to the game and wear something green and/or white as you go.



I can see our football team and the 110 moving to a new conference and leaving our middling, can't-really-be-bothered fans behind.

Not good point:  If it's not perfect weather, don't go.  School pride means zilch.  Need a jacket?  Team doesn't have a perfect record, isn't ranked $1, doesn't have colors of scarlet and grey?--show no pride; stay home.

At some point, you have to wonder (really; you do) whether we deserve this team.

Hey, putz--by which I mean, hey putz--L.A. is about 2400 miles away.  And I get in about once a year for a game.  I'm guessing that my costs and time may be more than driving in from somewhere in Ohio or Athens.  So, you ain't buyin' any claim by questioning my loyalty.  Yeah, I wish I could donate more.  But I've always done what I can.  My money's where my mouth is.  Tell me about your season tickets.  I can't attend many games, but I believe and put up.

This is a great line on many levels.  We'll be in the Big East playing in front of 8,000 fans in the third quarter in Peden.....

Monroe, I was there, with my better half, father and brother. The people who stayed through the first half, GOD Bless them, a cold and rainy day with Court Street calling you. It was a bad day weather wise, and does that have an effect? Yes, don't believe me, turn cold water on in your shower and watch the Buffalo game from the confines of your shower stall

I just love how a thread about maybe the best routine the 110 has ever done (and I've seen a goodly number of them in the last (gasp) 40 years) turns into another bitch session about the lack of attendance.

No.  The point is that the GloriOUs Peden, America's finest college football venue, should be call-the-Fire Dept overpacked with OHIO who have put on the Green And White to watch Bobcat Football and the 110.

Hey, let's have another thread about how conference movement will see us moving up in class.

Two words:  TV.

Until we support OHIO FOOTBALL substantially and are able to bring TV NUMBERS we will remain rather lame and without appeal in the conference shuffling moves.

So, go ahead an call me a fool.  Tell me that I'm insulting people because they won't attend an OHIO FOOTBALL GAME in football weather.  And then do your inane fantasy about us moving up in conference.

It's okay if too many of you don't like me.  But to disregard such obvious truth is doing yourselves a dis-service.  So, once again, please try to comprehend.  Justifiable (hey, we're 4-1 and rolling) fanatical fan following (pack Peden, assert a truly hurt-the-oppo home field advantage) of OHIO FOOTBALL is the pre-condition for the national recognition and possibs for moving up in conference that so many of you aspire to.  This means go to the game and GET LOUD FOR OLD OHIO no matter what the weather.

Over 1,500 posts and still not one of any substance. Insult me ("putz", brilliant) but I'm at many games, including last Saturday's in miserable weather. But still come on here, the site with most of Ohio's top fans, and critique us and tell us how to be model Bobcat fans. That's what we need.
