As most of you guys know, I covered OU's men's basketball team last year for my blog. I would post press conference video and highlights on my blog.

Well so far this year, I haven't had the time or the access yet to do the same for the football team until today.

I went to Peden to get some of the players thoughts on the upcoming UB game. As a former UB season ticket holder and beat writer for Queencitysports.biz, I was interested in what OU's players thought about the upcoming game.

This is what I can tell you,

-They are not looking past anybody and especially not the Bulls
-They are happy that they started conference season 1-0 but they understand that it just 1 win
-They have big goals this year and they look focused. When you talk to the players, they are always talking about setting big goals and they believe that if they work hard, this could be a special season.
-Tettleton should be good to play this week. He was held out of practice today but told me he expected to play on Saturday
-Brazil told me that the key to success on Saturday will be continuing to execute and do what they always do. If they do so, they will be successful. 


A lot of this is probably stuff that some of you knew already but I thought I'd post since its the first time I've gotten to interview the players in a while. Also, despite the fact that I cover the UB Bulls for queencitysports.biz and am from Buffalo, you can rest assured, I am rooting for the Bobcats to dominate the Bulls.

I am a OU fan first and foremost. I will have a preview and recap of the game on the site on Saturday. Be sure to check it out. I just wish I could be at the game instead of watching online. Our site has press passes to all UB games but can't go since I couldn't get a ride.
